Affiliate Disclosure

How Roulette Wheel is funded, stated plainly.

The disclosure

Roulette Wheel earns money through affiliate partnerships with online casinos. When you click a link to an operator on this site and go on to register an account, we may receive a commission from that operator. This costs you nothing — the bonus you receive is the same, or better, than it would be without our link.

This is our only source of revenue. We do not sell betting systems, courses, tips, predictions or advertising space, and we do not charge readers for anything.

What it does not affect

  • Ratings. Scores are set using the published method on our how we rate page, before any commercial discussion.
  • Ordering. The promo code table is ranked by value to roulette players, not by commission rate.
  • What we write. Our reviews list the drawbacks of every operator we work with, including our top-rated one. Read any of them and you will find a "what does not work" section.
  • Inclusion. We have declined partnerships, and we remove operators that fail a payout test regardless of the commercial impact.

How to identify affiliate links

Outbound links to casino operators carry rel="nofollow sponsored" attributes and open in a new tab. Buttons labelled "Get bonus", "Claim at …" and the operator links inside our comparison tables are affiliate links. Links to our own pages, to regulators and to responsible-gambling charities are not.

Commission structures we accept

Revenue share, hybrid and CPA arrangements. We do not accept any arrangement that ties payment to a rating, a position in a table, or the removal of critical content. Any operator proposing that is declined.

Regulatory position

This disclosure exists to meet FTC guidance on endorsements and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions, and because readers are entitled to know how a site that recommends things pays its bills.

Why affiliate funding, and what the alternatives would be

Every way of paying for a site like this has a bias built into it. Display advertising rewards page views, which rewards thin pages and clickbait. A paywall limits the audience to people who already know they want the information. Selling products — systems, tipsheets, courses — means selling something we believe does not work.

Affiliate commission has its own bias, and it is worth naming: it rewards us when readers open accounts. The countermeasures are the ones described on our how we rate page — scores fixed before commercial discussion, no paid placement, and criticism published for every operator we work with, including the top-rated one.

What we earn, in general terms

Arrangements vary by operator and are typically revenue share, CPA, or a hybrid. We do not publish the specific rates because they are covered by commercial confidentiality, but we can state the thing that matters: the rates do not determine the ordering of any table on this site, and no operator pays more to appear higher.

Where we would earn more by recommending something worse, we say so. The clearest example on this site is that we rank large match bonuses below modest rakeback offers, because for roulette players rakeback is worth more — even though headline bonuses convert better.

Your options

You are under no obligation to use our links. Every operator we mention can be found directly, and the information on this site is identical either way. If you would rather not have a referral recorded, type the operator's name into your browser instead — you may lose the exclusive code, which is the only practical difference.
