Roulette Wheel Online: free wheels, real odds & verified promo codes
Six free roulette wheel simulators that never stop spinning, seven calculators that show what the wheel really costs per hour, and casino promo codes our editor re-checks by hand. No systems for sale, no invented win claims — just the roulette wheel, its numbers and the offers that survive the maths.
Roulette Wheel is free to read because some links to casino operators are affiliate links. If you open an account through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. It does not change our ratings, our ordering or what we write. Full disclosure. 18+ only.

Why another roulette site
Most roulette content online falls into one of two buckets. The first is advertising wearing a guide's clothing: a thin explanation of the rules wrapped around a list of casinos ordered by commission rate. The second is worse — a system being sold to people who cannot afford to test it, usually dressed up with words like "algorithm" and screenshots of a single lucky session.
This site exists because there is a third option, and it is not complicated. State the house edge on every game page. Show what that edge costs per hour at a given stake. Rank bonuses by what they are worth to someone betting on a wheel rather than spinning slots. Say plainly that no betting system has ever overcome a negative expectation, and then hand people a simulator so they can prove it to themselves rather than taking our word for it.
Everything here follows from that. The demo tables are uniform RNG with no near-miss weighting, because the point is to learn a layout, not to be kept playing. The calculators run locally in your browser and never send a number anywhere. The reviews are written after depositing real money and timing a real withdrawal. And the promo code table is cleaned rather than padded — when a code stops working it comes down.
The three decisions that decide what roulette costs you
Almost everything written about roulette strategy concerns the fourth, fifth and sixth most important decisions. The three that actually move the number are these.
1. Which wheel you sit at
A European wheel has 37 pockets and a 2.70% house edge. An American wheel adds a second green zero, changes no payout, and charges 5.26%. A French table with La Partage refunds half your even-money stake when zero lands, which halves the edge to 1.35%. That single choice moves the cost of an identical session by a factor of four, and it takes about two seconds to make.
2. How fast you play
Expected loss is turnover multiplied by edge, and turnover is stake multiplied by spins. A live dealer table runs 30–50 spins an hour. Fast RNG roulette can run 110. Same stake, same wheel, triple the hourly cost. If your budget feels tight but you do not want to bet smaller, the cheapest change available is to play a slower table.
3. Whether you take a bonus or rakeback
This is the one most comparison sites get backwards. Roulette is typically weighted at 10% toward wagering requirements, which turns a 40x bonus into an effective 400x requirement on the wheel. Rakeback counts at full weight, is normally paid as withdrawable cash, and applies to every spin rather than to one deposit. Put your own numbers into the wagering calculator and the gap becomes obvious in about ten seconds.
Six wheels, spinning right now
Every tile below is a live simulation running in your browser — they keep spinning whether or not you click. Open one for the full table: a $1,000 play-money balance, a working layout, autoplay and session statistics.
European Roulette
Single-zero wheel, 37 pockets, 2.70% house edge on every bet on the layout.
American Roulette
Double-zero wheel. The extra pocket nearly doubles the house edge to 5.26%.
French Roulette
Single zero plus La Partage — even-money bets lose only half when zero lands.
Lightning Roulette
Straight bets pay 29:1, but one to five struck numbers pay 50x to 500x.
Mini Roulette
Thirteen pockets, straight bets pay 11:1. High edge unless half-back applies.
Double Ball Roulette
Two balls spin at once. Straight bets pay 17:1 but can hit twice.

Updates liveThe number that decides everything
House edge is not a mood, a streak or a hot table. It is a fixed percentage of everything you stake, and it is the only figure that reliably predicts a long session.
| Wheel | Edge | RTP | Cost / hr* |
|---|---|---|---|
| European Roulette | 2.70% | 97.30% | $13.50 |
| American Roulette | 5.26% | 94.74% | $26.30 |
| French Roulette | 1.35% on even money | 98.65% | $6.75 |
| Lightning Roulette | 2.99% | 97.10% / 97.30% | $14.95 |
| Mini Roulette | 7.69% (3.85% with half-back) | 92.31% | $38.45 |
| Double Ball Roulette | 2.70% outside / 3.92% inside | 97.30% / 96.08% | $13.50 |
* $10 average bet, 50 spins per hour, expected loss. Mini roulette assumes no half-back rule on zero.

How a casino gets onto this page
Six steps, in this order, before a single word of a review is written. If an operator fails step five, nothing else about it matters.
Register as a normal player
No affiliate account, no press contact, no special treatment. If the sign-up flow is broken for us, it is broken for you.
Deposit our own money
At least $100, from our own funds, with the promo code attached. We confirm the code actually applies before the deposit clears.
Play roulette, not slots
Minimum 200 spins across live and RNG tables. We count the roulette lobby, check for French tables with La Partage, and test the mobile layout.
Read the terms properly
Wagering multiplier, game weighting, max bet while a bonus is live, max cash-out. The clauses that void bonuses are never in the headline.
Withdraw and time it
End to end, including any identity checks. A stalled or failed withdrawal removes the operator from the site entirely — we delist rather than downgrade.
Re-check on a schedule
Codes on a rolling cycle, reviews at least twice a year, and immediately whenever an operator changes its bonus structure.
Two names on every page
No anonymous "editorial team", no AI-generated filler. Every article here is written and signed by one of two people, both of whom can be contacted directly and both of whom correct their own mistakes in public.
Learn the game properly
Written by a former dealer and checked against simulation rather than folklore.

Common questions
Is everything on Roulette Wheel free to use?
Yes. Every roulette demo, calculator and simulator on this site runs in your browser with play money, needs no account, collects no personal data and costs nothing. We are funded by affiliate commissions on some outbound casino links, not by charging readers, selling systems or running advertising.
Do the demo games pay real money?
No. The wheels on this site are browser simulations driven by your device's cryptographic random number generator. Balances are play money with no cash value, there are no prizes, and nothing can be deposited or withdrawn. They exist so you can learn a layout, memorise a paytable and test a betting idea over a few hundred spins without risking anything.
Which roulette variant has the best odds?
French roulette, when the table applies La Partage. Even-money bets carry a 1.35% house edge there, against 2.70% on European roulette and 5.26% on American roulette. If French is not available, European is the correct default. There is never a reason to choose a double-zero wheel when a single-zero one is running on the same site.
Do the promo codes on this page actually work?
Every code in our table was entered on a live account by our bonus editor before publication and is re-checked on a rolling schedule. Codes that stop working are removed rather than left up to collect traffic. None of the codes listed here carry an expiry date, though operators can change terms at any time, so always read the offer page before depositing.
What happens when I press “Copy & go”?
The code is copied to your clipboard and the casino opens in a new tab at the same time, with the code already attached to the link where the operator supports it. You keep this page open, so you can come back and compare without losing your place.
Can a betting system beat roulette?
No. Every bet on a roulette layout has the same negative expected value, and no order or size of bets changes that. Martingale, Fibonacci, D'Alembert and Labouchère alter how your results are distributed — more small wins and rarer, larger losses, usually — but the long-run cost stays identical. Our strategy simulator lets you watch that happen over thousands of spins in about ten seconds.
What does the house edge actually cost per hour?
Take your average bet, multiply by spins per hour, multiply by the house edge. At $5 a spin and 50 spins an hour on a European wheel that is 5 × 50 × 0.027 = $6.75 an hour in expectation. The same session on an American wheel costs $13.15. That figure is the real price of the entertainment; treat it as the cost of the evening, not as a loss to chase back.
Why do you list rakeback offers above big match bonuses?
Because roulette is usually weighted at 10% toward wagering requirements. A 40x bonus with 10% roulette weighting is effectively 400x turnover on the wheel, which is unrealistic for most bankrolls. Rakeback is paid on wagering at full weight and is normally withdrawable cash, so for a roulette-first player it is nearly always worth more even though the headline number looks smaller.
What is RTP, and how is it different from house edge?
They are the same number from opposite ends. RTP (return to player) is 100% minus the house edge: 97.30% on a European wheel, 94.74% on American, 98.65% on French even-money bets. Both are long-run averages across millions of spins, not a promise about your session.
Are live dealer tables better than RNG roulette?
Neither is better mathematically — the paytable and pocket count decide that. What differs is speed. A live table runs 30 to 50 spins an hour; fast RNG roulette can run 110 or more. Since cost scales linearly with spins, the same stake costs two to three times as much per hour on an RNG table. If you want to spend less without lowering your stake, slow down.
Do you accept payment for higher rankings?
No. Scores are set using the published method on our how-we-rate page before any commercial conversation, and no operator has ever been given advance sight of a review. We earn commission on some outbound links, which is disclosed on every page that carries one.
Who writes the content on this site?
Two people. Daniel Voss, a former live-casino roulette dealer and pit supervisor, writes the maths, the guides and the simulators. Elena Marchetti, our bonus editor, opens and funds every casino account, verifies each promo code and writes the reviews. Both are credited by name, with a date, on every page they work on.
Start with the wheel, not the bonus
Learn the layout on a free table, run your bankroll through the calculator, and only then decide whether an offer is worth your deposit. That order saves people money.
